Blue Hole Swimming Hole is special. In the summer months, it's by invitation only, so make your reservation as as soon as you start planning your Wimberley vacation.  They book months in advance.  There's a beautiful grassy area so bring your picnic and enjoy the cool, spring-fed waters of this local gem. 

Legendary Jacob's Well Swimming Hole is also invitation only.  Hike into a wooded area and you'll be surprised by how small the swimming hole actually is.  It's super deep, clear, cool water and will be magical part of your stay in the Wimberley area. 

For $10-$15/day (depending on the season), you can buy a day pass to swim in the Blanco River at 7A Ranch Resort. Park your car, bring your cooler, and enjoy the water down by the low water bridge of 7A.  They only have 50 passes per day, so be sure to get there by 10:00am if you want to ensure your pass.!
